Hafeez Lakhani, President


Hafeez Lakhani is a 20+ year veteran in one-on-one education. A graduate of Yale, he has helped students gain admission to Harvard, Stanford, UChicago, and Columbia, among other great schools. In 2018, he founded Lakhani Scholars with the goal of delivering success in selective admissions not only to his fee paying clients but to 100 high achieving low-income students per year.


 

Paul Augustine, Secretary

Paul Augustine has spent his career focused on addressing climate change and making the environment cleaner--from policymaking in Washington DC to trading for a cleantech investment firm in New York to driving clean energy programs for utilities throughout the U.S. to his current role, leading sustainability efforts for Lyft. Paul is a graduate of Yale and Columbia and is passionate about increasing educational equity and access.

 

Fahim Naim, Treasurer

Fahim Naim is an e-commerce and Amazon geek. After leaving Amazon, he founded eShopportunity to help brands scale on the platform, Since its launch, eShopportunity has managed hundreds of leading brands and continues to be recognized as an expert in all things Amazon. Fahim received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, and remains an obsessive Miami Heat fan.

Yvonne Marsh

Yvonne spent her career in private equity and finance. As a senior partner, she completed more than 60 transactions and served on over 20 for profit and not-for-profit boards' positions. Marsh graduated with honors from Williams College and Harvard Business School. She currently serves on the boards of PEN America, Fay School, and dZi Foundation.

 

Kumar Sukhdeo MD, PhD

Kumar Sukhdeo MD, PhD is a physician-scientist specializing in stem cell biology and complex hair/scalp disorders. He graduated from Duke followed by research at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Sukhdeo completed his MD/PhD degrees at Case Western Reserve University. He then trained in dermatology at NYU prior to founding a teledermatology startup, Pilaris (pilaris.com).

Amy Tutrone

Amy Tutrone manages the Tutrone family office investment and philanthropic activities including establishing scholarships for low income students at the high school, college, and graduate school level. She is also an active participant in her community. She lives with her husband in NYC and has two adult children. Amy grew up in a small town in Arizona and has a BA in English from Pace University.
